I think the stress is getting to Mr. Chaifetz and the antis are starting to crack. It looks like the Fish & Game Council is akin to the mafia as Mr. Chaifetz describes it.
The issue of the Fish and Game Council is of little importance to the general public. However, losing the freedom to fish, hunt, trap, and shoot touches a nerve with most people - even those that are not involved in the outdoors.
Please focus any signage that you might bring to the rally on FISHING! The antis want to keep the issue as hunting related - we want the press/media to see that it includes fishing so that the photos will clearly relay this truth.
Thanks
Ant

Dear friends,
Today the Courier-Post ran a full page with letters both against and
in favor of changing the Fish and Game Council. What the hunter's
have failed to realize is that before their intervention, no one in the public was really thinking about this issue. Now, however, the public is seeing the inner workings of the Council, and there's no way this can benefit hunters.
Since the Council's inception, they have operated in secret and out
of view of the mainstream public. They've had to, especially as the
state changed and became more suburban and anti-gun. Our main
strategy over the past 15 years has been to bring these issues
forward and open the public's eyes to what is really going on.
The opportunities the hunters have given us, with the publication of
so many of our letters and op-ed's has been invaluable to our cause.
***Now we prepare for the endgame***
Join us next Saturday, October 27th, for the first ever rally against the NJ Fish and Game Council and let us begin our march to victory!
