There are a number of reason why we need a large showing on the 28th in Clarksburg. To show our numbers to NJ politicians, to show our commitment to having these bills REMOVED and not REWORKED, to show your support for an AMENDMENT to the constitution, to be a part of SAVING our outdoor heritage...

... and now to show the ANTIS that we are more committed to OUR cause than they are to THEIRS. The antis are having a rally on the 27th. (See Chaifetz letter below)

Show them you are commited - show up in Clarksburg on the 28th - THE BATTLE OF MONMOUTH!

One of the Most Important Events for wildlife Ever - Saturday Oct. 27th
History will be made!

:::Please forward this to all animal lists and other concerned with wildlife
and public safety:::

Dear friends,

Hunters, outraged that Assemblyman Mike Panter and Senator
Ellen Karcher have introduced legislation to reform the NJ Fish and
Game Council, have turned all their bitter energy to defeating the
Council bill and these honorable legislators this November. They
have, over the past weeks, sent out numerous letters to the editor
filled with vitriol and false information. They have also, allied with the
NRA, organized one rally in deep South Jersey, and are planning
another for Sunday, the 28th of this month, this time in Monmouth
County, the area that Mike and Ellen represent.

We allowed the rally in South Jersey to go unopposed because it
was a meaningless gesture on their part. They changed no mind nor
gained any ground in an area so rural. Instead of showing our hand,
we showed patience. We waited for them to make a critical mistake.
And now they have. And now we strike.

On Saturday October 27, the day before the hunters have their rally,
we will have one of our own!

Our rally and press conference will literally be one of the most
important events ever held for wildlife, and I call upon all those who
care for animals to attend and join with us as we expose to the entire
state the true nature of the Fish and Game Council and why we so
desperately need reform.

We shall show how the Council is destroying the environment and
how they have forced hunting upon unwilling people and local
governments. We shall show how they have destroyed innocent
lives, both human and animal alike.

Our alliance is one of individuals and organizations, many who
have never spoken out against hunting or are even anti-hunting,
but because they have been personally effected by the arrogance
and abuse of power by the Council, they are now standing against
them. They all have stories to tell, and, thanks to the efforts of the
hunters, they will be heard.

By taking the offensive we have completely outmaneuvered the hunters.
This is not the deepest part of South Jersey, but the heart of suburbia,
where guns and killing are repulsive. They have walked into a trap.

All we ask is your presence, on this one day, to join with us in this
great rebellion against the tyranny posed by the hunting groups and
the hunter owned Council. In the space of just two hours, you will help
create a nexus point where history is turned and victory for our
environment and wildlife will no longer becomes a question, but
an inevitability.

::: SATURDAY OCTOBER 27 11 AM - 1 PM :::: Location:
Monmouth County (exact address to be given as we get closer,
to avoid hunters threatening and intimidating the property owner).

This is just 10 days from now - so please make plans to be there!

coming: info at ...
