Animal rights activists are "boning up." They are going to seminars and taking instruction on how to influence legislators and get legislation passed.

We all have to be vigilant and continue to assert the principles of conservation. You have the chance to show your support for conservation, hunting, fishing and trapping by displaying the NJOA "Grassroots" decal. We have been told by some prominent politicians in Trenton that the one thing they want more than campaign funds is the support of "Grassroots" organizations - because grassroots organizations bring VOTES.

What better evidence than the results in District 12. Karcher and Panter spent $5.5 million versus the $1 million spent by Beck, Casagrande and O Scanlon. It was grassroot voting that helped them to secure victory.

Show your legislators that you are pround to be part of the largest grassroots movement in new Jersey by displaying the NJOA "grassroots" decal. Learn more by clicking on the Support NJOA tab at our website:

Oh, yea, here is what Janet Piszar of the NJARA and BEAR has to say about her training to change the political landscape in NJ:

Janet Piszar, Millburn, NJ ... "Thanks to Julie's NIFAA training, New Jersey's animals will have powerful and effective activists. Julie introduced us to a new and powerful strategy for influence when she guided us towards political organizations for animals. We quickly realized that not to fight animal rights politically was a waste of time, energy and resources. We profusely thank Julie for her wisdom, experience and guidance!"
